We have had a long association with Malawi with most of our humanitarian work concentrating in and around Livingstonia in the north where we work closely with David Gordon Memorial Hospital.

The AIDS pandemic has caused untold suffering. All ages have been affected.

Kids Action were the first NGO in Malawi to provide funding for antiretrovirals to keep Mums and Dads alive to look after the kids.

Kids Action Track Record speaks for itself

Some of the projects we have completed over the years are

  • Maize milling machine for AIDS orphans committee to earn money to feed children
  • Major famine relief operation feeding 2000 people for 5 months in 2002
  • SaveAMum project providing antiretroviral drugs for single parents with AIDS
  • Supplying seed, fertilisers and livestock to women's farm project

We are presently working on a project with Westhill Primary School in Scotland to support Phoka Primary School in Northern Malawi

Nepal. We are presently building toilet blocks at a primary school at Goljung Nepal. This will have extremely beneficial effects on the children's well-being resulting from the improved hygiene and standards of drinking water.
