Food Security Projects

Agricultural Projects are extremely succesful.

They provide food security for a community and can be used to enable other projects to become self supporting. They also provide employment.

In conjunction with Rotary Club of Aberdeen St Fittick we are arranging for the export of a tractor and implements to our Gbomsamba Project in Sierra Leone.

The tractor will be used to help improve the output of subsistence farmers in the Makeni area and to help increase food production to feed the children in our home at Lumley and the children at Grafton.

We are also looking at working in partnership with Rotary Club of Bo in Sierra Leone to establish another agricultural project aimed at providing food for needy communities and to make a new child healthcare project planned for Bo fully self supporting.
